Practice Philosophy
Healthy Skin is Beautiful Skin and here at EVOLUTION MEDICAL SPA, helping you find your own healthy skin is our passion! From the time of your initial skin care consultation with us (when we will listen to your particular skin care concerns, evaluate your specific skin care needs and create a personalized skin care program) thru the process of fulfilling your skin care desires, and even into a future of maintaining your healthy skin by preventing sun-damaged or pre-maturely aged skin from lowering your self confidence and self esteem-We will be here for you!
It is important for you to remember that achieving beautiful skin is a process of determined evolution. We strongly encourage our patients to get down to the very basics of skin care therapy early and often to speed that evolution and recommend that our patients consider allowing us to perscribe one of our PCA or Dermalogica skin care treatment protocols based on their native skin characteristics and on whatever pathology we identify at the time of our initial consultation meeting. The perscribed skin care protocols will include everything that we know is necessary to nourish and heal your skin from past damage and will also include sun and antioxidant protection to help prevent future damage and to prevent any other more costly therapy that we together do to correct your specific concerns (such as Botox, Dermal fillers, IPl/Laser treatments, etc) from losing their optimum effectiveness sooner than anticipated or desired. We will also highly recommend that you consider purchasing one of our Clarisonic Professional skin cleanser/exfoliant device and add it to your skin care progam because, as most of our patients who already include it in their daily skin care will tell you, "It makes everything else Doc and Kelly do to improve skin health evolve better!". Our experience has been that daily use of our Clarisonic in patients skin care programs will save them money in the long run. Unless you are extremely lucky in your genetic makeup (which most of us who aren't on the big screen are not!), having healthy beautiful skin is not cheap. That being said, if you don't put a reasoneable amount of your hard earned money directly towards physician directed skin care basics like our skin care products and use common sense protection from the sun, your long term investment in a healthy skin evolution will suffer no matter how good a job Kelly and I do technically. The Evolution to healthy, beautiful skin and the self confidence it creates is a process. Every process needs a foundation and at Evolution Medical Spa we'll do our very best to help you build yours!
