JUVEDERM™ Injectable Gel and Restylane injections are crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gels that are injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous, producing a long-lasting, natural enhancement - gentle and safe - to your skin.
JUVEDERM™ Injectable Gel and Restylane injections are both dermal fillers composed of NASHA gel, (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid), made from naturally occurring substances in the human body. Patients are less likely to have serious side effects, which can sometimes occur with the other animal-derived dermal fillers, such as collagen.

No allergy testing is required for Hyaluronic Acid or Calcium-Based Dermal Filler injections.
Achieving the look you desire is as easy as it is quick. JUVEDERM™ Injectable, Radiesse, Perlane, and Restylane injections are non-animal-based and fully biocompatible, allergy testing is not required. This means that you can have a treatment with injections immediately. The session often takes less than thirty minutes. The time differs somewhat depending on the correction you want to have performed. When injected into the skin, the dermal filler produces volume that smoothes the wrinkle or fold, shapes the facial contour or enhances the lips in a natural way. The method is fast and safe leaving no scars or other traces on the face.
Dermal injections involve minimal discomfort.
Prior to your procedure, a topical anesthetic cream can be applied to the treatment area. You can also choose to have a local anesthetic injection to further numb the area. Some patients may tolerate the treatment without any anesthetic.

Immediately after the injection you can expect a slight redness, swelling, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. This is normal and generally disappears in a few days.
