General Information
Dr. Dotz is a board certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. He founded the Berkeley Dermatology Center in 1985 where he practices general dermatology and cosmetic and skin cancer surgery.
In keeping at the forefront of the ever changing developments in the field of dermatology, Dr. Dotz has authored over 40 dermatology articles, abstracts and medical textbook chapters. He participates in worldwide dermatology symposia and lectures regularly at the School of Medicine at the University of California. Dr. Dotz has been interviewed and quoted as an expert on skin care in numerous notable publications such as Vogue, The New York Times, Consultant and The San Francisco Chronicle. His dermatology practice has been recommended as one of the Bay Area's best in the Bay Area Consumers Checkbook and the Castle Connolly Guide, How to Find the Best Doctors: San Francisco Bay Area.
