Ruth Ann Larson, M.D.
Dr. Ruth A. Larson is a board-certified dermatologist who received her training at the UCLA Medical Center. She is a skin cancer specialist, experienced with a wide range of surgical techniques, including Mohs micrographic surgery for the removal of aggressive skin cancer. Dr. Larson is a member of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She is also a member of the clinical teaching staff at the UCSD Medical School and at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital. She has practiced in Poway for over 20 years.
Dr. Larson was awarded the unsolicited "America’s Top Physicians" award by the Consumer Research Council of America. Fellow physicians also named Dr. Ruth Larson one of San Diego’s top physicians by San Diego Magazine. Dr. Larson has among the highest cure rate for non melanoma skin cancer; over 99% cure rate in over 5,000 Mohs cases with a 20 year follow-up.
