Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Care was founded in 1982 by Dr. Bernard Raskin, one of Southern California’s most well-respected board certified dermatologists, with the goal of helping people make informed decisions about the care of their skin.
The care of your body is a lifestyle choice. Consequently, you want to be guided by people who are knowledgeable and fully trained in evaluating the particular needs of your skin. At Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Care, every doctor, nurse and physician’s assistant is personally trained by Dr. Raskin to utilize the most innovative skin care treatment techniques available. Though any dermatologist can treat skin conditions, our staff has the skills to adjust the performance of such treatments to your unique condition in order to maximize the results.
It all begins with a customized skin care analysis conducted by our Aesthetic Consultant, followed by the close, personal attention of our staff. Our aim is to help you feel confident and secure in your decisions regarding your skin treatment.
Knowing that your skin care needs continue outside of our facilities, we also offer an exclusive line of skin care products. The Creating Beauty line of products consists of alpha hydroxyl acids (AHAs) for the removal of dead skin cells, antioxidants to protect the new cells, and retinols for healthy skin and anti-aging. Unlike many products on the market, our line of skin care offers higher levels of active ingredients that produce amazingly quick results.
Finally, Advanced Dermatology believes in giving back. We participate in community activities to help enhance awareness about skin disorders and how to properly treat them. Dr. Raskin and our staff have often provided free skin cancer evaluations and continually write articles for many local papers to educate the public.
