General Information
Greater Des Moines Dermatology PC sees all types of dermatologic diseases and problems in all age groups as well provides cosmetic services including excisions, closures (flaps/grafts/and advanced closures), fillers, botox, and (vascular and resurfacing) laser therapies.
We provide clinical, cosmetic, and surgical services encompassing the wide variety of dermatologic diseases and treatment options utilizing the skills and training of a board certified dermatologist.
We believe that dermatologic care is best (diagnosis, treatment options, and treatment plans) when delivered by an appropriately trained board certified dermatologist. In this age of heavy profit motivations, you must be careful as many practices, especially in the Des Moines area, will try to mask or hide who is your actual provider.....
Your family practice physician has markedly more formal training, required educational requirements, and expertise to get to their position then ANY nurse practioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA). As such, why would anyone go to a physician extender for specialty care? In the realm of specialty care, you deserve and should expect a board certified dermatologist had an active role in your care and especially diagosis.
